Description

This is Australia’s national flower!
It is a very ornamental shade tree which is drought, lime, frost, soil salinity tolerant. It flowers profusely, covering its branches from top to bottom. Bird attracting, native butterflies, insects & native caterpillar food plant.
Indigenous peoples used this very useful plant for food, fibre, medicine, hunting implements and adhesive.
