Why Not!

Here at Australian Native Farm Forestry (ANFF) we have been propagating Australian Natives for over 20 years, with over 20 years of experience you know you are getting the very best! We also have the largest range of local natives in the area.

ANFF is one of the largest propagation nurseries in the area, producing over 500,000 seedlings, each year for use in revegetation and farm plantation projects around the state of VIC/ NSW.

Providing over 300 different native and indigenous species to help sustain these species for the future, and our children’s future.

Our seedlings are grown on a special blend of organic fertilizers and bio stimulants to promote strong and healthy growth with resistance to frost and drought ensuring better survival of seedlings in the field.

The secret of our success is though the extremely high standards we provide.

To be one of the best you have to continually find ways to improve and exceed customer’s expectations.  This is what we aim to do on a daily basis.

Try the ANFF difference. Remember planting local native plants not only makes your property more attractive/ valuable but it also helps the environment and the future of our local native plants!

Selling prepartion

Preparation before selling any of our seedlings is very extensive! Certain checks are undergone to ensure seedlings produced meet our standards and are ready for sale.

Our seedlings are grown out in the full sun, fully hardened, not pampered in the shade like most other nurseries. We have special custom made trestles in which our seedlings are grown.

Our seedlings do not get root bound or have roots protruding from the bottom of the pot as they are grown above ground which allows the air to naturally air prune the roots resulting in extra secondary roots and a better root system.

When our seedlings are sorted for sale they undergo the following checks to make sure that the seedlings are up to our high standard.

We ensure:
- the seedling has an established root system
- that there are no blank cells with no seedling in it
- that small, weak seedlings are sorted out
- that every tray sold has every cell full with a strong healthy seedling  in it
(Tray of 40 has 40 trees)
